SBUAA To Hold ‘Bedan-Trepreneur’ Webinar Episode 2: Tatak Bedista On July 10
The “Bedan-trepreneur” webinar series of the San Beda University Alumni Association (SBUAA) is back with Episode 2: Tatak Bedista, which will be held on July, 10, 2021 (Saturday) at 3p.m. via Zoom. The said webinar was rescheduled due to the changes in quarantine protocols, and to make sure that all online participants and the speakers are, first and foremost, safe and whose health have not been compromised.
The speakers for the second Episode are: Fermin “Mitoy” Orosa, the Chief Entrepreneurial Officer of the HK Group of Companies and belongs to Grade School Class 1975 and High School Class 1979. Gerald “Gerry” Santos, founder and CEO of Mr. Freeze Purified Tube Ice and belongs to Grade School Class 1979, High School Class 1983 and College of Arts and Sciences 1987, and Euclid Cezar, founder and CEO of Innovention Food Resources Inc., makers of Famous Belgian Waffles and a member of High School Class 1994 and College of Arts and Sciences Class 2003.
This webinar promises to be an interesting discussion on how the speakers started their respective companies and made it big in their respective industries, just like the first episode, all Bedans are invited whether they are current students of the university, alumni and faculty members, both past and present.
Since the COVID situation in the country is improving with the vaccination being conducted nationwide, their webinar series hopes to hold more episodes on a monthly basis. Joey Alvero, SBUAA Trustee and Membership Committee Chair, said that barring any serious health issues, he wants this to be held regularly so as to inspire other Bedan alumni to be better in their own businesses and for students to be inspired to be successful entrepreneurs someday.
The SBUAA thanks its president, Atty. Dominador Buhain, for his unwavering support to this project, and whose family owned Rex Bookstore is a sponsor/presenter.
For those who want to register online, please contact the SBUAA secretariat through Wilma Abellanosa at 0947-8072222 or through sbuaa.manila@gmail.com.
